En la serie de manuales que me he propuesto colocar aquí (así los alumnos tienen donde elegir) otro de esos manualitos para empezar a entender esto del AJAX

Hay que poner el blog al día y nada mejor que incluir algunas de las cosas que he ido viendo por ahí todos estos meses, para empezar este manual de AJAX, que la verdad está bastante bien… sólo una pega esta en inglés… pero como siempre digo nunca es tarde…

Llevo bastante tiempo hablando de los problemas de flash, (no os los voy a repetir ya que todos los sufrimos…) las grandes “casas” por todos conocidas, apuestan ahora por un software “más manejable” y sin un “propietario”, es decir apuestan por aplicaciones desarrolladas claramente en software libre . Un ejemplo de las posibilidades de estos nuevos códigos es AJAX, navegando por ahí uno siempre se encuentra cosas, algunas realmente utiles y bien desarrolladas.

Para los que no conozcan AJAX no es flash, aunque haga lo mismo y mucho más… menos mal… ya era hora de parar tanta “pelotita” y demás “memeces” y para los que no lo conozcan es bastante más potente que flash… por ello los grandes como Yahoo, Google, Microsoft entre otros están apostando seriamente por esa tecnología que es clave para la web 2.0, es muy seguro que ya lo has utilizado en cualquiera de los portales de los anteriormente citados, sin embargo lo desconoces… para saber un poco más te indico las direcciones de los “grandes” para profundizar un poco más… como siempre digo en broma a mis alumnos, pasa de froskis y friskis y pásate a AJAX…

Buscando cosas sobre AJAX me encontre en google.dirson.com (un buen lugar donde siempre están pendientes de los chicos de google) lo de la Google AJAX Search API , “es una API para que los desarrolladores web puedan interactuar con sus servidores en forma de búsquedas, y éstos les devuelvan datos y contenidos ricos en forma de HTML y Ajax.” esto traducido es que google nos permite introducir en nuestros espacios lo mismo que nos dan en la web (usando siempre la tecnología de google), según nos cuentan pueden introducir publicidad (de google) en un futuro… como no. Yo lo ando implementando aquí vamos a ver como va a quedar…
